St16 4 hours Internet down again...not that you would notice as its slow to stop speed on a normal day! I can not wait for my contract to end!!

Mundesley NR11 My onestream broadband goes down every day between 5pm - 7pm, search on internet puts it down to traffic at that time. This morning it went down at 7am, then again at 1pm, again as I type this is now out again. I put a request out on nextdoor website and a large number of people seem to be suffering the same difficulties who are with other providers. By complete coincidence, a number of companies have been pushing fibre broadband in the area, if I were of a suspicious nature, I might think that someone is sticking the proverbial spanner in the works in order to encourage people to sign up to "More reliable and faster broadband".

WF11 - Knottingley nr Pontefract/Leeds Well, after no contact from Onestream for over a week (when they claimed an Openreach engineer HAD called, two weeks ago, when they hadn't called at all) an Openreach engineer suddenly appeared at my door yesterday, wired me up - and I finally had the interwebs! I emailed Onestream to confirm that I was connected with them (because, since their silence, I'd signed up with NOW Broadband, and I wasn't sure who I'd just been connected with) and to check that they WOULDN'T be charging me £120 for a missed appointment that they told me I'd have to pay, and have heard nothing from them in the last 24 hours. And, to put the cherry on the cake, my broadband went down three hours ago and I'm still waiting for it to come back on. Great start, Onestream. Great start! :(
