Unable to receive OTP from Santander and as others I'm getting the same message repeated regularly. 20 messages from Asda and now 8 from my son. Santander asked me if I was with Virgin or O2 and when I said yes she said I will add your name to the list. No problems before but this is getting ridiculous now with Virgin seemingly having no answers or any idea when it will be fixed. Going abroad Wednesday and currently I have no access to my online banking.

Still having problems with my text messages. Either I keep getting messages In triplicate (or more), & in other instances not able to send or receive texts to certain numbers. Please help !!!

Still not fixed! Can get messages from Virgin Mobile and people on the ID Mobile network, but nothing else. iPhone SE 2nd Gen. Have tried all the network resets/remove SIM/stand on my head/count to three then power back on. I can't even change to a different mobile provider as I can't get a OTP code to confirm the bank details! SORT IT please. Poole BH17

Same as, received 36 OTP texts (multiple copies of different codes) from my bank since Saturday morning. Now locked out of online banking. Virgin ‘Customer Services’ said they’ve put a dedicated team on it so that’s a relief eh? Had no idea when it would be resolved. My bank knowingly asked me if I was with Virgin, well not for much longer.

I am so sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you, a working services is really important to contact your loved ones especially on these unprecedented times. As of the moment, we have an on going known issue with the Messaging service. This is already looked into and may take 24-48hours to fully resolved. I really apologise for this inconvenience. I will forward your case as of one the affected users.As work around, we suggest to try reset your network settings to see if that would help as there are cases that it works. Kindly confirm your handset make and model please.

Teesside. Same problems as everyone else. Incoming texts repeated ad nauseam, no verification codes or OTPs arriving - instead I just get the same text I've been getting for last coupla days. Letter last week informed me I would be switched to O2 on 16 August. Can't work out if this is good news or bad but it's pretty clear VM are making a right pig's ear of the merger. I cannot wait to get shot of Virgin altogether! In the meantime, they are burying their heads in the sand!

After 5 calls found out it’s a national problem the dreaded texts I’ve been sent 9 for survey same txt and every time someone txt me a text from last week will appear Phone should of been switched to 02 but now going to be in August are virgin hanging on so they can pass the problem to 02 or is it a ploy to get u to cancel spoke to customer service ????today saying I might cancel if it carries on said don’t blame you what sort of cust service is that

Same for me, keep getting same OTP from Amazon over and over again, every time need to receive OTP from bank I receive it from Amazon instead.

What has happened to virgin mobile, supposed to go over to 02 in June didn't happen then all my historic important emails went down for 4 weeks only just resolved and now the texting system is driving me nuts, as I have tried to access my eBay account so many times they have frozen my account, can't use mobile banking as recieving no OTP texts, so bloody frustrating. In Swindon, having been receiving the same two text messages many, many times since Friday afternoon, both in response to messages others are trying to send to me and at random times. Can't use my bank account or anything requiring MFA. Spoke to Virgin at 9 this morning and said it should be fixed in 3-4hours. It isn't. Virgin, this is not trivial, please sort this out.

Eastbourne…..thought my phone had gone wrong over the weekend…. Kept turning it off… but obviously I’m not the only one… all exactly the same problems…I never use sms texts but it’s the OTP’s that worry me… and that bloody gov gateway over and over again…
