Since Friday unable to send/receive texts. Keep receiving the last texts sent from both of my sons. Hubby has text me from is phone but text I get is one of those my my sons. Phoned today and Virgin say they are working on it. Hurry up please expecting a hospital appointment text and won't know if I've had one. Dy1 3rl Dudley West Midlands.

I can’t receive text messages off anyone. Just get the same message from Friday over and over. I have reported this twice but no indication of when it will be fixed. I get a lot of medical appointments info by text and school info too. It’s a joke!

Phoned Virgin mobile about this and they are aware of the OTP problem. Banks and other big businesses' texts aren't reaching people. Got nothing to do with where you are in the country, it's nationwide. So I can't log into Nationwide! Or check out at Tesco because I can't get OTPs. Probably got something to do with the O2 merger but they aren't admitting it. I move to O2 on Wednesday 19th.

Text problems in Chatham Kent, not able to recieve OTP from my bank to login, revieved the same message from my sister over 20 times from the previous day, are Virgin looking into this ???

Similar issue as mentioned above. SINCE FRIDAY, I'm unable to reliably receive texts, so having difficulty getting OTP codes to log into online services. Sending texts all works fine. I've followed up on every suggestion on the known internet to restore my iPhone's messaging. One daughter's messages come through fine, but not from other family members. There's one text (from Thursday) that keeps getting repeatedly sent to me each time someone else sends a fresh message. Everything else on the phone (calls, internet messaging, social media) works normally. Poole, BH17

SK9 in Cheshire. When I called them, they disconnected me when I wanted to make a complaint. It is irritating they were blaming Apple and I wasted hours with this. OTPs are needed to log in to most account particularly banks. They dont care!

I have issues with my messages since last Friday. I contacted Virgin 5 times and they do not publish the issues in my area. I do not receive any messages containing OTPs from accounts so I can not log in. Also since last Friday I received x 50 multiple times the same 3 messages I received that day. Still going on. Virgin were blaming apple at first but apple did many tests and it is Virgin problem and they need to fix. It is 3 days already and no time to when it will be resolved. I can not access my bank account so I may have to order a new sim from another supplier as it could take weeks?

Same here since Friday, same message being received from the same person over and over when other contacts send me a new text. Virgin mobile said they are aware of problem and engineers working on it but then said do I want a new number

BN1 Brighton Startes on Friday getting same messages multiple times. Now iMessage and FaceTime not working and not getting any notifications from other apps either. Called virgin and they said it was affecting a lot but not all, and engineers looking into it but still not working. Supposed to be going across to O2 next week but don’t know if there will still be the problem?!

Same as everyone else, repeated messages from the same person over and over. Affects mine and my son's phone but not my wife who has been transferred over to O2. Unable to send messages. Problems started approx 8:00PM Friday, 14th July. Redcar

Repeated messages keep being sent to me, over 20 times I'vehad the same message come through, others not coming through at all. Thought it was just my phone, obviously a fault on virgins side

Keep receiving same 2 messages from my daughter since 4pm yesterday. Spoken to Virgin and no help but apprently a nationwide problem but no idea when it will be fixed. But apprently they are going to send me a text to leave feedback. Good luck with that one

BN14 Worthing. Also experiencing repeated same SMS message. Phoned Vigin customer support today and they confirmed that there is an issue an that they are working on it. No time estimate for a fix other that asap

NN3 Northampton. Like others receiving multiple identical messages from original reply message with authetication code. Relates to two different senders, not connected. Also not receiving 6 digit authentication Bank code as I should.

Have been charged 4× monthly bill coming to total of £527 both phones on family package have now been suspended for over 24hrs unable to contact anybody basically told they can do anything until technical team fix this! Absolute joke unable to get on stagecoach app to travel to work etc having to use Uber costing more money!!

SW20 9AJ London: All incoming calls go to voicemail for last few days. No solution, just a list of guesses from Virgin Mobile staff. Some blame older sim card, some local network (my family have 3 other phones working fine), some the upcoming move to O2, some the usual settings...still no phone. I hated Virgin Media (Internet, TV, Landline) poor service previously and will be delighted to dump their mobile phone service too.

NW4 3PD. London 2 weeks now no email service or spasmodic. will leave Virgin after 20 yrs !
